Emergency Vs Urgent Care Centers
An Urgent Care Center is a facility that delivers medical services on or outside of a Hospital Emergency room environment on an unscheduled walk-in basis. Urgent care centers are primarily used to treat patients who have an injury or illness that requires immediate care but not serious enough to need a visit to an emergency room. An Emergency Care Center, commonly referred to as emergency room is a facility located, usually, within a hospital that carters for patients suffering from true life-threatening health conditions. Emergency rooms are usually located within a hospital or provide ready access to major hospital facilities.
